Fibroblast Plasma Pen Skin Tightening Part 2
I had my skin tightening treatment a little over 7 weeks ago. It takes about 6 weeks for your skin to start producing new collagen so now is when the true results begin to show - I’ve noticed some of my fine lines begin to fill in, the texture of my skin has definitely improved, the shape of my nose has adjusted and some of the slumping (there probably a more technical term out there but I’m no expert!) has been resolved too.
Below is another round of before and after photos. For years - I had really wanted to address the harsh nasolabial fold (I knew filling this with an injectable was not going to solve my problem and would definitely make my face looked jacked up and unnatural). The Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatment I got definitely fixed this!
I’m going to do a whole separate post on the procedure itself and the recovery - but before I get to that I can say that Jane is really good at what she does and she understands how these little dots she places on the skin (with the plasma pen) form a pattern that lifts and changes the face. Not all techs are created equal! Do your research and find someone who has outstanding results.
If you look at the shape of my nose in the image on the right you can see that it was becoming misshapen and kind of crooked. Apparently as you age the ligaments on your nose start to pull away from the skin - which makes the shape of your nose change shape. The happened slowly over the course of several years so it was hard to articulate what the heck was going on!
This treatment has changed the shape of my nose within a few weeks and was totally painless. Rhinoplasty procedures can take up to a year to heal completely. These results are still improving at 7 weeks post procedure. My nose is lifted and more symmetrical and this has helped improve the balance in facial structure.
I’m now well versed in the nose aging process!
Okay so in this photo I have make up on in both photos - the one on the left is my before and the right is the after. In the before photo I have way more makeup on than the one on the right (kind of hard to tell here but trust me - it’s the truth!)
In my after photo the texture of my skin is dramatically improved, the excess skin above my eyelid has lifted and my eye is way more open. The nasiolabal fold has softened and the bags/fine lines under my eye are on their way out the door.
Also - I’m someone who is really prone to skin tags, freckles and moles. This treatment really went to town on all of those things! The one below my eye: gone. The mole above my lip: majorly faded. And you can see volume has been resotred to my cheek.
