Estheticians: This One’s For You

Oh how I love a facial. A really good, pore cleansing, leave my skin better than you found it, facial. Give me all the steam and extraction and multiple masks and serums galore. I love it. I also love when I pay for a service/experience and I walk out thinking “whoa that really made a difference - I can feel it!”. When I set out to create Hibiskus Beauty I knew that this product would fit right in to an esthetician’s regime - for their clients who may need some extra boosts in the texture/protection department.

A new product for estheticians: a mask, exfoliant, barrier protectant

Estheticians who are looking for something new, super clean and incredibly effective to add into their regime should keep reading. This mask - the Hibiskus Beauty Balanced Glow Flower Mask - does a whole lot and I’m going to break it down for you why this should be in your repertoire.

  • Hibiscus flower extract is packed with alpha hydroxy acids which help slough off dead skin cells. This helps improve texture right away through the chemical exfoliation without harming the skin.

  • Niacinamide: coming in hot on the scene over the past several years this form of vitamin B3 great for clients who need a little boost in their barrier protection. People who have been struggling with dark spots, hyperpigmentation, damaged skin can easily benefit. The thing about this ingredient though - it brings a “STINGLE” (sting/tingle) to face which is caused by the B3 that encourages circulation. So when you take a B3 vitamin you actually can get a flushed complexion. Same here - when you apply the 2% niacinamide there is redness that follows and this is actually healthy, not damaging to the skin. Inviting in circulation helps repair and aliven the skin - making it healthier.

  • Kakadu plums are packed with vitamin c and this mask goes the extra mile here. Inviting in these antioxidant properties helps protect from free radicals and it actually can work in partnership with the naicinamide - together these actives are giving your clients a boost of nourishment and protection.

  • The mask is kaolin clay based - so speaking of nourishment: wowza! While the other aforementioned ingredients are working their magic exfoliating, lightening dark spots, protecting from environmental damage, building up the skin barrier - the clay is soothing, calming and providing moisture.
